ReviewsRomazini: 4/5 StarsVery approachable Mendoza Cabernet with 10% Malbec. Doesn't hide where he comes from. Modern style with plenty of ripe fruit. The Winespectator: 85/100 PointsDark and toasty, with plum, fig and raisin notes that linger on the fleshy, smoky finish. Drink now. 18,500 cases made. Robert Parker: 87/100 PointsSixty percent of Kaiken's 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon spent 8 months in American oak. Purple-colored, it has a pleasing perfume of cedar, spice box, espresso, and black currant. Medium- to full-bodied, smooth-textured, and tasty, it has lots of spicy black fruit, good depth, and a medium-length finish. Drink it over the next 4 years. The WinemakerDark ruby, ripe and pure, with a great presence of blackberry and blueberry fruit, this Cabernet bring bitter chocolate, cedar, tobacco, coffee and mineral notes from the Agrelo area. Tannins are well-formed, and its comes together beautifully, with a silky and balance finish. Alcohol 14.5, PH 3.7, Total Acidity (H2 SO4) 3.33 g/lt, Volatile Acidity (C2H4O2) 0.58 g/lt, Residual Sugar 2.6 g/lt, Free SO2 0.023 g/lt. Stephen Tanzer: 87/100 PointsVintage 2006: Medium ruby-red. Expressive aromas of plum, smoked meat, licorice and sexy nutty oak. Rather laid-back on the palate, with a slightly gamey quality to the currant, plum and chocolatey oak flavors. Not a particularly generous style but very cabernet. Finishes with a note of coffeed oak and broad, dusty tannins. Customer reviewsNo comment has been written to this post so far.Similar wines
