Vintage 2007: The 2007 Grillo Altavilla della Corte is a pleasant, soft-textured white with pretty aromatics that lead to ripe apricots and peaches. Ideally it is best enjoyed over the next year or so. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2010.

This estate, located in the province of Trapani, is remarkable for the quality it achieves considering the total production approaches 5 million bottles. To put that number in perspective, it is roughly 50% of the total production of Barolo in a generous year.
