Reviews

Romazini: 5/5 Stars

The Winespectator: 89/100 Points

The 2007 Saulo is composed of 50% Garnacha and 50% Carinena aged 4-6 months in barrel. Dark ruby-colored, it has a fragrant bouquet of licorice, black cherry, and blueberry. This leads to a succulent, ripe wine with loads of pure fruit, a seamless texture, and excellent length. Drink this crowd-pleaser over the next four years.

Stephen Tanzer: 88/100 Points

Deep ruby. Spicy, pungent aromas of red berries and herbs, with a hint of cola gaining strength in the glass. Juicy and gently sweet, offering lively raspberry and cherry flavors and notes of candied rose and cracked pepper. Nicely restrained red wine with good finishing lift and spicy persistence.

Jancis Robinson: 15.5/20 Points

Vintaeg 2007: Smells of cigarette ash! Round and decent enough fruit. Not too ripe but concentrated.
