Vintage 2006: Black cherry, sanguine and espresso flavors mingle in this firm red, which is austere now, but the structure is balanced, and there's a floral note on the finish that promises to bloom with time. Drink now through 2014.

The Winemaker

Intense blackberry colour. Spicy and intense nose, with liquorice and black pepper hints on a base of well ripened fruits (blackberry and cherry). On the palate, very fruity at first with ripened tannins, also persistent and full bodied.

Vintage 2006: Bright ruby-red. Pungent aromas of dark raspberry, mint, spices and dried flowers. Tangy, finely etched red berry flavors are complicated by notes of cinnamon and white pepper, with gentle tannins adding support. Very easy to drink, offering good finishing clarity and spicy persistence
