Ralf Hofer, shopmanager


Ralf is responsible for the customer service and the accuracy of the online presence of romazini.com. His profound know-how of the wine market and all related gastronomic issues are reflected in the selection of our wine portfolio and is adding depth to our News and Events sections.
After his apprenticeship in customer service in hotelry and gastronomy, he became a Chef de Rang in the renowned Waldhaus Dolder and other luxury hotels like the Atlantis Sheraton und Widder Hotel in Zurich. After Zunfthaus zur Schmiden and the Restaurant Neue Waid he joined the sales team in the Vinothek Landolt Weine in Zurich. Before joining Romazini fine wine, Ralf was co-responsible for the management of the Landolt Vinothek. A wide range of advanced training around wine and customer service, among others at the Berufsbildungszentrum Wädenswil, have further increased his excitement for the wine world.

Benjamin Gilgen, strategic development


Benjamin is cofounder of Romazini fine wine. He is responsible for the strategic development of Romazini fine wine.
Before founding Romazini fine wine Benjamin was managing partner at Gilgen Company AG. Benjamin has accompanied national and international companies along their strategic business development for almost 10 years. After studies at the University St.Gallen and the Université de Genève accompagnied strategic projects for Arthur D. Little. Various courses in enology and wine management intensified his fascination for wine.

Denis De Mesmaeker, information technology master


Denis is cofounder of Romazini fine wine. He is responsible for the internet based services of Romazini fine wine. He is also active as a technology officer. After his studies at the ETH Zurich, which he completed as eidg. Dipl. El. Ing ETH, he added an MBA from the BWI at the ETH Zurich.

Raphael Keller, winemarket expert


Raphael supports the Romazini team in the development of the wine portfolio and the client services. He is an advisor along the international expansion of Romazini fine wine.
Raphael is Founder and CEO of vinodivino, Inc., an upcoming wine concept in Boston (Newton), MA, in the United States. Prior to his vinodivino venture, Raphael was a strategy consultant for The Boston Consulting Group in Boston and a professional in investment banking for J.P. Morgan in London and New York.
Raphael earned an advanced degree from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET). He studied Business Administration with a special focus on Finance at the University St.Gallen and at the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS Master).
