ReviewsRomazini: 5/5 StarsA picture book chilean Merlot. Concentrated, suave, with full, dark fruit - an excellent value. Master of Wine Jancis Robinson describes this "Chilean in Bordeaux-Style" in the British Airways magazine with "powerfully ripe and overwhemingly attractive". The Winespectator: 90/100 PointsVintage 2007: Dark and concentrated, with lots of plum and blackberry fruit, but polished and pure, with enticing vanilla bean and licorice snap notes adding length to the fleshy finish. Drink now through 2011. 34,500 cases made. Robert Parker: 90/100 PointsVintage 2007: Exhibits aromas of cigar box, clove, cinnamon, plum, and mulberry followed by a ripe, sweet wine lacking the Volle of the Carmenere. Nevertheless, this is a full-flavored, pleasure-bent Merlot that should help restore this grape's good name. Drink it from 2011 through 2019. The WinemakerHand picked, 15 months in french oak. Intense dark red. Black cherry, fine, spicy, nice smokey tar. Complex and concentrated apalte, soft tannins.
