Vintage 2005: Inky purple. Extremely fruity nose offers an explosive bouquet of blackberry, plum jam, licorice and mocha. Round, sweet and supple, with deep dark berry liqueur flavors and slow-building tannins. Turns a bit drier on the finish, where the tannins give the wine a slightly clenched impression.
