The Winemaker
Colour: Lovely crimson red with brilliant clarity.
Aroma: Earthy, with hints of blackberry, prune and sweet tobacco.
Flavour: Savoury with some fine spice, slightly smoky and warm.
Finish: Rich an fruity with soft tannins and some accidity.
General: This is a bolder style of Zinfandel due to a higher alcohol. This wine has a wild heart that is difficult to contain but will benefit with some aging. Enjoy with a rich oxtail stew or roast duck.
