ReviewsRomazini: 4/5 StarsThe Winespectator: 92/100 PointsVintage 2007: Dark and fleshy, boasting gorgeous crushed plum, boysenberry and currant flavors, but it all stays lively, as vibrant minerality frames and extends the finish. Offers a delicious combination of dark, exotic fruit and a racy, acid-driven feel. Drink now. Robert Parker: 94/100 PointsThe 2008 Reserva Malbec (100%) was sourced from the estate's 60- to 150-year-old pre-phylloxera, biodynamically farmed vineyard. It went through malolactic in new oak, where it remained for the rest of its elevage. It is a glass-coating opaque purple color, with a brooding bouquet of toasty oak, mineral, exotic spices, incense, black cherry, and black currant. Dense, velvety-textured, and suave, it deftly melds elegance and power in a wine that will easily achieve its 20th birthday in peak form.
