Some good fruit with tobacco, berry character that follows through to a medium-bodied palate, with fine tannins and a simple finish. Best after 2008. 30,585 cases made.

Rugged tannin and a disjointed character are found in this 2003 Haut-Medoc, along with abundant quantities of new oak, licorice, plum, and black currant fruit. This somewhat jaggedly constructed, medium-bodied effort should be drunk over the next 6-8 years because of its low acidity and uncertain future.
