Vintage 2006: Well-rounded, with beefy notes to the ripe plum and red berry flavors. Shows notes of olive and herb on the finish. Kosher. Drink now.
The Winemaker
Our aim, with Barkan Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 is to create a wine of finesse and elegance. It's certainly ripe but never jammy, with rich blackberry and redcurrants fruit framed by a solid tannic structure and subtle oak, interlacing the fruit with sweet spices and cigar-box notes.
